Slow conversiion time with Nvidia GPU enabled

I got a Win10 desktop machine and an Nvidia Geforce RTX 2060 graphics card, and Nvidia Studio Driver v551.61.

I followed the instructions here but the driver v353.90 was giving me an error that it’s not compatible.

When I am converting the videos now it seems to be quite slow.
When choosing the Expert Settings, i have Nvidia on for hardware enconding.

Is there anything else I can do to use another driver? Or does anyone have any recommendation to improve conversion time?

Try the latest build of MCEBuddy. Hardware encoding depends a lot on the GPU capabilities. See this post for more information:

The GPU itself is also a factor for example the RTX 4080 is almost double the performance for RTX 4000 and my guess is that the RTX 2080 is slower.

If you open your conversion logs it’ll tell you the FPS for the conversion which can then be benchmarked against other cards (or drivers as drivers can have a significant impact on the performance also)
