Can I archive to the original record folder

We record TV material from a SD Prime. Lately, a lot of material is being re-recorded because it is aired again within the 90 day window SD uses to decide to record.

Usually, I don’t bother to archive material because I haven’t had any MCEBuddy issues but when I do archive, I archive to an external HD.

Can I archive to the original SD record folder or am I going to have to copy the archive copy from the external HD back to the SD record folder? Is there some other way to accomplish this?

Yes, leave the Archive folder blank in the Monitor Location → Expert Settings page
