I have been using the free version of comskip and have it working perfectly, i now have the donor version of mcebuddy. Can i use my old ini files?

Yes you can.
In fact your configure your conversion task -> Expert Settings to use a custom INI file just for that task.
I used an online text compare site to see the difference, was missing the hardware acceleration option in my config.
Noticed it’s set to 0 in the McB version, tried setting to 1 but it hasn’t made a difference as I saw no load on my GPU.
A good question for the Comskip forum.
The Comskip INI hardware acceleration is only used for decoding and only under specific conditions.
