I am getting an error on a particular file conversion. Logfile attached below.

Something isn’t right about the recording metadata, it’s cropping more that it should causing failure

Try to disable the crop video option in the Expert Settings page. You could also upload the original video to our servers to analyze.
I have downloaded two files at the FTP site below. I’d welcome your opinion.
Both are of the same show (ABC News), but on two different dates.
Both cause errors and both appear to be corrupted… but since it is from two separate recordings that seems like an incredible coincidence.
Please let me know whether you think that this is a source file problem.
Any opportunity to look at this?
It’s working fine with software encoder, it’s probably an issue with the hardware encoder (driver) not being able to handle that many errors in the stream or the cropping. Try disabling the cropping is the best I can advise or see why the source stream has so many errors.
