Using HDHomerun to record some ‘local’ shows on FIOS. Each stream is named uniquely, but since
it looks like there is no real metadata available when the show gets renamed and saved, they get overwritten. The (subtitle) .srt files actually increment so there is one for each show even though only one show now exists as the others were overwritten. Any thoughts as not to have overwritten ?Example below.

You could also use file renaming to include the episode broadcast date/time if there are multiple episodes airing that are not marked as separate episodes.
Good point. I would have to have those shows/episodes go to a special directory to process differently. That would be good for News Broadcasts as well.
So,curious…but in looking at some News shows that actually have air date embeded like CBS Sunday morning, files will get renamed with episode information like CBS News Sunday Morning S42E08 - November 10, 2019. Looks like there is only a numeric representation for months on custom renaming (ie: %airmonth%). Do you know if there is a pattern with full Month name representation ?
Are you using the localized language locale settings for the month names? Is there a need for custom language/locale options in the profile for international users?
Not asking for those features, just noting them as parking lot items that might come up in the future if they are not already baked in.
