So when you pay for MCEBuddy does it come with the better version of comskip? I am unable to tell however in the logs it shows the donator version so assume so, hence was confused with all the documentation around buying the donator version rather than just buying the mcebuddy and it comes with the better version of comskip.

It comes with a custom build version of Comskip which has no restrictions and hardware acceleration built against the latest libraries.
Erik’s build a slightly different build, also unlimited but built against different libraries AFAIK. You can search the forum, some folks have been comparing them.
Please do continue to support his work and consider purchasing his Donator version.
