Profiles missing after upgrade

I creaeted a post earlier today in regards to specifying alternate locations for the profiles.conf file – before finding this thread,

Subject: Suggestion: Backup Option for mcebuddy.conf Similar to Profiles.conf I’ve found it very useful to relocate profiles.conf to a cloud-backed folder for redundancy and version control. It would be great to have a similar option for mcebuddy.conf - unless there’s already a tool or method I’m unaware of? Perhaps this option could be made accessible to keep users (highly) customized mcebuddy.conf out of harms way?
