Play-On / AppleTV - unable to process any recordings

Summary of the problem or suggestion: Play-On recordings of AppleTV all error out in processing, or create a file with no video

Steps to replicate the bug: Record anything via Play-On - try to process it with any profile on MSE buddy. It either errors out completely (mp4 profiles) or creates a file with no video. (mkv/others)

It’s an issue with Playon, it’s generating non compliant MP4 files, see the post below for more details. Downgrade to an software version 4.5 for PlayOn and it should work fine. Here’s a temporary workaround if you don’t want to downgrade.

Start Trim not to Keyframe, causing "no video" on output

Thanks for the logs and sample files. It appears that the MP4 file being produced by the latest version of PlayOn isn’t compliant with the specs and has errors which is throwing ffmpeg off when it tries to remux it from MP4 to TS for processing the file AND while trying to trim the start. During this process it’s losing some critical metadata about the video stream so it can’t be played back. The short term solution is to enable the option to enable the option Skip remuxing files in the Convers…

Appreciate it… I wondered if it had something to do with my original issue.

Oddly, everything else I record with Play-On right now is fine - Just the AppleTV recordings fail completely. Not sure what new wrinkle they introduced with AppleTV, but it’s breaking 100%.
