I have not been able to get comskip to work consistently. I realize it never works 100%, but it is no longer working at all, at least for some recordings. Here are two recordings back to back. One worked and the other did not

It was two programs recorded weekly. A couple of times one program did not detect or at lest cut, any commercials. Then all of a sudden it started working again. Sorry for false alarm.
Comskip 2.7.1 not working for me either…

Please attach the full log and @Forum_Helper_bot can also assist. A few lines don’t share the whole context. There will be a single failure message when MCEBuddy tests which version of Comskip is installed but that doesn’t mean Comskip is failing.
@laffer98 As Goose mentioned, that snippet alone doesn’t necessarily indicate a commercial detection failure. When MCEBuddy initializes Comskip, it first queries the executable to determine whether it is running the free or donator version, which routinely triggers a benign failure/exit code during version detection.
To pinpoint what is actually happening when Comskip runs against your video file, please upload your full conversion log (you can find it in your log directory or attach the .log file directly to your reply).
