I have been using the free version of comskip and have it working perfectly, i now have the donor version of mcebuddy. Can i use my old ini files? Just worried new parameters will be missing if I use my old free ini.

Yes you can. In fact your configure your conversion task -> Expert Settings to use a custom INI file just for that task.

The Comskip INI hardware acceleration is only used for decoding and only under specific conditions.
