Can't download 2.7.1

Everytime I go to download 2.7.1 from Downloads - MCEBuddy 2.x, it pops up a chrome window and when I click premium access login, it opens a new window that says:

  • Enter the credentials exactly as provided in your email. Try copy-pasting them instead of typing them in making sure that there are no spaces at the start or end, or try using a different browser.

  • NOTE: Legacy licenses purchased before January 18th 2023 can only access Legacy versions upto v2.5.x. New licenses beginning with mb- are required to access the STABLE and BETA versions v2.6.x+.

I have my username and password from my orignal purchase, but it’s not giving me an option to input that to login, it’s just automatically going to the error page. I don’t want to change my password, I just want to be able to login with my known username and password?

If your credentials don’t start with a mb- then it’s a legacy license and you’ll need to purchase a new license for access version stating 2.6.x

If it’s a new license check your license expiration date. You can retrieve your license and expiration dates at password.mcebuddy2x.com

I have mb credentials good until 12/2025, but can only download legacy versions from the website. I am assuming my credentials are good and it is some sort of error, unless you can only download with active credentials and get whatever is latest before credentials die out. I tried manually typing in the password, but it still didn’t work. Tried multiple browsers. I already got email with my username/passwords for both legacy and mb versions. Any options to troubleshoot? It would be nice if the mb credentials “denial from server” would state credentials are valid, but expired on “fill in date” so you know.

Its 2026 now, the credentials have expired.
