I have WTV files in MCE and was just trying to remove the commercials. After going thru 5 shows 2 of them had perfect sound, but no video. Video was blank. Logs included for one of them.

Sounds like you may have a playback issue, possibly your player or codecs
Most likely not a codec issue or one I can remediate or considering this is WTV format should have to. If there is video it’s black. I have had MCE running with my XBox’s for 13 years or more with no issue. The original video is fine however the one output from MCEBuddy with the commercials removed is well, what it is. I’m having other issues with MCEBuddy and it’s conversion techniques but will put those in a different thread as it’s not a blank screen issue but more of a frame rate one.

If you’re trying to playback converted h.264 WTV on XBox, it won’t play. It’s a known issue, see the known issues post:
So are you saying MCEBuddy’s conversion to H.264 in WTV won’t work or Xbox 360 in general won’t play H.264? I know it can on the initial recording because after some update MCE encodes all their WTV files in H264 now.
