Still cuts 3 seconds from beginning of video

I don’t know if I am doing something wrong, but I am trying to keep the first 3 seconds of video after running the comskip process. I have removed the -ss 3 option from each video profile in the profiles.conf file, rebooted and run the conversion process again with no luck. Is there a better way to keep the 3 seconds of video? I tried looking into comskip.ini options but couldn’t find a way to keep an extra 3 seconds at the beginning of the video.

I have tried this on version 2.4.6 and 2.4.7

Did you modify the mcebuddy.conf file also FFMpegBackupRemux section?

So if i want to do the opposite and add 50 seconds, I would instead modify both sections to add 50?

No you would use the Trim Start and End options in the conversion task expert settings page.

I tried it by adding 50s through comskip.ini (always_keep_first_seconds) and then removing the 50s again through the MCEbuddy configs following the directions and it worked well. Wanted to avoid not cutting and creating possible sync issues.
