I don’t see any issue here, it’s detecting that it’s a Sports show:

You’ve set the conversion task metadata correction options to force the type to Series, so that’s what it’s doing, it’s resetting the sports back to series.

Force Show Type → Series

So that’s what it’s doing.

@Goose first off as always thanks for prompt reply.

The showtype option is shows/others. is there a best practice as the dvr service saves sports/shows into the same folder?

Yes, you’re forcing mcebuddy to reclassify all shows processed by that conversion task as a show (series). So even though it reads sports, it’s being reclassified as show and hence it won’t process it as per your filters. The metadata correction options are used to correct incorrect metadata, for example if it reported it as a movie but you know it’s a series, then you set it to shows/others.

If you have multiple types of shows in the same folder, just create multiple conversion tasks with the show type filters for each task (assuming you want to process each show type differently, e.g. movies, sports and shows, if not then just one conversion task for all). Don’t correct the show type unless required.

I see where I went wrong @Goose. I selected the wrong option under shows. thanks for your patience and understanding.
