As a long-time happy user, I have gone brain-dead, and I can not remember how to navigate to the Conversations Task pane. For some reason, the original TV show file, after Comskip removes commercials, is not being deleted so every show shows up twice in WMC. I suspect that there is a setting in Conversation Tasks to fix this.

To delete the original file after a successful conversion, check the option under Monitor location → Expert settings (not under conversion tasks because there can be multiple conversion tasks and the original file will only be deleted after ALL conversion tasks have successfully completed the conversions, hence it’s under monitor locations which monitors the folders to pass the file onto the conversion tasks)
