How to include original file creation date as MetaData in Renaming?

Hi all,

I have a large collection of video files that I would like to use the original file creation date as normally saved to a file as metadata when converting and renaming them into the new folders. So for example, if I had file:
recording.ts (created 02.22.2018@7:45pm)

I would hope to get:
recording.02.22.2018.mp4

or better yet:
recording.02.22.2018.19-45.mp4

Any suggestions on the best way to do this? I tried all the date combinations and it kept grabbing the date of the folder the files lived in rather than the file itself.

Maybe post the combinations you’ve tried and a copy of your conversion log. The log will show you what metadata is being read from the file and internet and consequently what’s available to you in your custom renaming options.
