Failed to convert using MP4 Unprocessed profile

Hi,

I am running MCE Buddy on a newly constructed PC on files created by Emby DVR with an HDHomeRun tuner. All files created are .ts and playback faultlessly.

I have set up MCEBuddy, (latest beta 2.5.1) to use the MP4 Unprocessed profile as I want to further edit these manually.

I have watched the temporary working directly while MCE Buddy does it’s analysis, and it seems to create the expected number of subfilles, and then a new file, but it then fails to create the MP4 file. If I am reading the log file correctly, it seems that ffmpeg is failing, but I can’t see why.

I have attached the log file for the failed conversion.

I have also carried out the same conversion with the HEVC MP4 profile, and this works correctly.

Regards, Richard

Looks like you’ve hit the limit of ffmpeg and mp4, the container doesn’t support a LATM AAC format.

2019-09-29T05:45:00 MCEBuddy.AppWrapper.FFmpeg → Stream #0:10x101: Audio: aac_latm (LC) ([17][0][0][0] / 0x0011), 48000 Hz, stereo, fltp
2019-09-29T05:45:00 MCEBuddy.AppWrapper.FFmpeg → [mp4 @ 000001c2314ce900] Could not find tag for codec aac_latm in stream #1, codec not currently supported in container
2019-09-29T05:45:00 MCEBuddy.AppWrapper.FFmpeg → Could not write header for output file #0 (incorrect codec parameters ?): Invalid argument

You’ll have to either choose a different container or modify the profile to convert the AAC LATM audio to another format or non LATM AAC format.

Ok,

Thanks for the help.
