Since the July 17th, nothing is getting converted. I can’t make heads or tails of the log files. Finally, after days upon days of frustration, I uninstalled the whole thing and reinstalled–nothing changed. Everything was working so well, except the FoxNews programs never could get the commericals to be skipped. Anyway, I just want the MCEbuddy to convert the MP4 to MKV at this point. The folder’s are being monitored they contain the mp4 and json files. Why isn’t it working? It sounds like you’re having a really tough time, and it’s frustrating when something that was working stops without a clear reason. Let’s try to break this down.
You mentioned that since July 17th, nothing is getting converted, even after a complete reinstall. You also noted that Fox News programs never had their commercials skipped, and now you’re primarily interested in converting MP4 to MKV. The folders are being monitored and contain the necessary files.
The log files you’ve attached will be crucial in understanding what’s happening. I’ll need some time to review them.
In the meantime, could you clarify a few things while I look at the logs?
“Nothing is getting converted”: Does this mean MCEBuddy isn’t even picking up the files, or is it picking them up but failing during the conversion process?
Conversion Task: Are you using a custom conversion task, or one of the built-in profiles?
Source and Destination Paths: Could you confirm the exact source and destination folder paths you have configured in MCEBuddy? Are these paths on a local drive, or a network share?
Once I’ve had a chance to look at the logs, I’ll be able to give you more specific guidance.
