Sure glad i paid for another year, your customer service is fantastic. NOT! These forums are a waste of hard drive space and bandwidth if you don’t help out with the product that CHARGE people for with support.
I don’t see any logs attached
Because it’s not doing ANYTHING.
I thought I mentioned the fact that it refuses to process any of Bar Rescue.
Is there a mcebuddy.log file in the log directory? That will have the scan information on any potential reason why files aren’t getting picked up.
Open it up and search for one of the file names of the Bar Rescue files and see if can help troubleshoot the issue you are experiencing. Or you can attach it and we can take a look.
There is nothing. Not a single log, I have cleared history and installed the newest version.
Even cleared the logs folder.
Like they are ghost files, not appearing anywhere in MCEBuddy.
The only thing I haven’t tried is renaming it, but that wouldn’t be sustainable.
That’s strange, there should at least be an mcebuddy.log. It should log that it scanned the monitor location where your files are located.
That’s what I would figure. I’m at a loss on this one.
Could you attach your mcebuddy.conf from the config folder. Feel free to make a copy and remove any personal details you don’t want to share (email address, usernames, etc). And then provide a location and filename example of a file that won’t process and one that does process.
Sorry about the raw paste

I’ll also add, this is the only show that refuses to process. Everything else is fine.
Can you give an example of a full path to a file that isn’t getting processed?
“E:\Unprocessed TV\Bar Rescue\Season 8\Bar Rescue S08E22 Till Failure Do You Part.ts”
What is the file size?
That was 20secs long, not valid for that filter…
Here is a different one that didn’t process:
“E:\Unprocessed TV\Bar Rescue (2011)\Season 6\Bar Rescue S06E18 Fish Out of Blue Water.ts”
It’s currently set that it has to be greater than 400 mb so this one with size of 359 mb would not be processed. Try decreasing the file size filter to maybe 300 mb or 350 mb and see if you have better luck.
@Tony_B, did this resolve your issue?
I don’t know how I missed that. I am encoding files differently and that is a hell of a small file for 1hr.
Thanks for uncovering that.
No problem, easy to miss an under 400 mb for 1 hour show normally seems unlikely. Glad it’s resolved.
