Is there an easy way to test different comskip.ini-s per episode?
Right now I have MCEBuddy set up to a different comskip.ini depending on the show. So there’s a conversion task for PBS (no comskip), 2 CBS shows, and a Generic one for other shows. So CBS looks like [The Big Bang*;Young Sheldon* in Recording title match] and if I add a show to record in Plex, I have to add it to Generic manually conversion task. Plus, I’m transcoding to H265, which takes 1-2 hours each episode. I do archive each episode, as I’ve been burned in the past with Plex doing the comskip. So if I find a show has cut too much or too little, I’d like to go back and try again.
