Unable to find file on install

Hi everyone,

Can’t seem to install the software always get this error:

Unable to locate application file ‘MCEBuddy.Setup64.msi’.

I am on Windows 10 with Creators Update, tried installing the dot.net Framework but says its already part of the OS, but on the install logs:

‘Microsoft .NET Framework 4 Client Profile (x86 and x64)’ RunCheck result: No Install Needed
Launching Application.
Error: Unable to locate application file ‘MCEBuddy.Setup64.msi’.

Any help appreciated.

Cheers

Never seen that before. Try installing the MSI file directly instead of using the setup file.

There is no msi file with the download from the link in the email.

Cheers

Something’s wrong with your download. The zip file contains 2 file, the Setup.exe and the .msi file.

For some reason my auto-extractor software was uncompressing the .msi file aswell, face palm moment, just turned it off and download again and worked just fine.

many thanks
