I use different drives letters depending on whether it’s a movie or a TV show. I can’t figure out how to get MCEBuddy to process movies and send them to the movie drive (D:) and process TV shows and send them to the TV show drive (E:). The only thing I’ve been able to do is get two conversion processes for everything. The monitor location stays the same. Any help would be appreciated.
Potentially you could set the destination to the UNC path back to itself \, Share your drives and then use custom file naming to do something like %ismovie%<DDrive, EDrive>\ rest of rename criteria. Otherwise, there is a way in windows to mount a drive as a folder on another drive using Disk Management and assign drive letter/folder. Then still use the custom file naming and the ismovie check.
If these seems too complicated then I’d still with the two tasks. Since you can filter in the task based on type (Movie, TV, Sports) it works quite well and is an excellent way to achieve what you are trying to do.
