Summary of the problem or suggestion:
Since installing 2.4.9 stable the job that uses Comskip to search for commercials fails about 80-90% of the time. The error seems to occur just before calling Comskip. Below is the text of the error.

ERROR> 2018-12-23T09:32:09 MCEBuddy.Engine.ConversionJob → Unhanded error during conversion, conversion cancelled
System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
at MCEBuddy.Engine.ConversionJob.Convert()

Steps to replicate the bug:
Run Commercial Find step.

Thanks for the logs and reporting this, we’ve replicated the bug.

It happens when a specific number of conditions are met:

  • There must be a saved EDL file
  • Rename only should be enabled
  • Comskip must be enabled

It has been fixed in today’s BETA build.
