So I have a couple of files lately that are ending up way shorter than the original file. So for a 1 hour show I am getting about 25 min file which is a little over half of what I expect. I am going to upload the original file along with the log file. I am unsure why this is happening. I select no commercial removal and I get the whole video so I know the original file is not wrong but for some reason MCEBuddy is cutting my video short.
If it’s shorter then it’s to do with your Comskip configuration. Have you seen the how to tune Comskip topic? It some sample INI files that are channel specific which you can try out.
I will be sure to take a closer look at it but I record 10+ shows a week and I have not noticed it on the same show ever or even on a certain channel. I would say this has happened maybe 3 times over 5 or 6 weeks.
