MCEBuddy is cutting shows to the first 10 minutes

MCEBuddy is cutting shows down to the first 10 minutes. I first started using the MKV profile. Switched over to TS. Turned off comskip.
No matter what, its cutting the shows after 10 minutes.
Please help me figure this out.
Thank you.

Your recordings are corrupted. This usually happens due to a bad source recording signal or a faulty/buggy TV tuner/recording driver. If you updated a driver or firmware recently you may want to roll it back.

Thank you for your reply.

So both of my Ceton cards are going bad?
Or the signal from Comcast is causing this?

Thank you for the driver suggestion.

Ceton no longer exists, and the last firmware/drivers they posted I’m using now. Is there another solution i could use to fix this? Right now half of my shows I have to reprocess using editing software.
Is there a profile or setting in MCEBuddy i can tweak or turn off??
Thank you

You can always edit the profiles and customize it to your needs. Ffmpeg is unable to get past remuxing due to the video errors. You can try the following things:

  1. In Conversion task -> Expert settings, enable the Skip remuxing. See if this helps as it’ll skip remuxing (which may cause some loss of functionality depending on your video file, e.g. if the video file is h.265 it may not work with ShowAnalyzer etc).
  2. Change the profile order to use handbrake first instead of ffmpeg and see that works better with your damaged recordings

Thank you for the suggestions.

To keep TS or MKV Unprocessed on some shows (like sports), Skip Remuxing seems to work.
In other shows that are “one and done”, i changed the profile to MKV Normal Quality since handbrake was already first.
I’m still playing around with the settings but at least i can now watch an entire show.

Update: After switching cables, calling Comcast to send signals to cable cards, switching hard drives, etc, I found out one of the ports on my Raid Controller Card was going bad and finally died.
I replaced it with a new one, and now MCEBuddy works without errors.
Thank you for your help.
