The xml file from zap2it contains a listing of all programs being aired. How does mcebuddy know which recording corresponds to which entry? If you’re using WMC then the metadata from zap2it should be embedded by WMC into your WTV file which then is extracted by MCEBuddy.

Zip it and attach it or go through it and search the beginning part of the conversion for the metadata extraction part.

Zap2It provides the information to WMC which then puts into the WTV file. MCEBuddy reads the WTV file and extracts the relevant metadata from it.
