Renaming with periods in the show info

Currently running mce 2.5 b4 and cannot for the life of me figure out how to get shows I dvr to have periods in the title when they convert.

Example the Donna Reed show. I want to convert to the.donna.reed.show.s##.e##

Please help before I make my bald spot larger

You can use custom renaming to create any renaming pattern you want but it won’t replace characters in the metadata fields (e.g. title or episode name). If you want to do that try adding a PostCustomCommand to profile as explained here and run a batch script that will rename the converted file. MCEBuddy - Advanced Settings, Commands and Tweaking

Here’s an example of running a batch script through a CustomCommand (note you need PostCustomCommand):

Yes you can do any combination that works for you, here’s an example of have MCEBuddy invoke CMD which in turn invokes another program: CustomCommandPath=C:\Windows\System32\cmd.exe CustomCommandParameters=/c ""<Path to batch file or exe>" <parameters for batch or exe>"
