Der Forum_Helper_bot gab mir einen Hinweis. Ich ging zu C:\Program Files\MCEBuddy2x\config und fand eine profile.conf.old und mcebuddy.conf.old. Ich stoppte den Prozess, stoppte den Dienst und erstellte eine Sicherungskopie der alten und neuen Dateien. Dann entfernte ich die neuen .conf-Dateien, entfernte das .old von den Sicherungen, startete den Dienst und die App neu und voilà, alles ist wieder da. Hoffentlich gibt das mehr von euch einen Anhaltspunkt und eine mögliche Lösung. In Zukunft plane ich, eine Sicherung dieser Dateien zu machen.
Alles wieder auf Kurs. Habe ein vollständiges Systemreinigung für alles im Zusammenhang mit MCEBuddy durchgeführt. Irgendwo schien eine beschädigte Datei das Problem zu verursachen. Neugestartet, saubere Installation der aktuellen Version durchgeführt. Jetzt funktioniert es. Danke an alle, die Input und Kommentare geliefert haben – sie haben alle geholfen.

In C:\Program Files\MCEBuddy2x\config habe ich die *.conf-Dateien in *.conf.new umbenannt und die *.conf.old in *.conf
