# Unhandled exception adding correction in in expert settings for new conversion task

**Summary of the problem or suggestion:**
Unhandled Exception occurs attempting to add a correction in the expert settings of brand new conversion task (before saving the new task). Workaround is to click the “Continue” button and the dialog is constructed properly with an empty list of corrections.
**Steps to replicate the bug:**
In Settings, Add new Conversion Task. Give it a name. Click on “Expert Settings”. Click on “Corrections”. Error should occur. Workaround is to click on “Continue”.
I suspect the app is not checking to initialize the list/array when the Corrections button is pressed. It gets initialized when you press “Continue” and the dialog opens normally, ready to add the first correction. This is a new conversion task, so there is no persisted/saved task (yet) that would normally initialize these (defaulted empty) sub-object structures as part of the save/persist method or in the load/deserialize method if this conversion task already existed.
