# Unable to search folders. Isnt selecting files to be converted

Basically as title states MCEbuddy isnt searching the folders for files to be converted. I have tried unistaller and reinstaller to no avail could use some help.

From your logs, your configuration files are corrupted. Follow the [clean install](https://discussion.mcebuddy2x.com/t/24)ation instructions and make sure your backup configuration files are deleted before you reinstall.

In the next version we’ve added support to detect a corrupted history file and prompt the user to reset it.

Awesome. Just FYI I followed the instructions and was able to get it up and running again.
