# No longer detecting commercials

I loaded the trial version on a new computer, and still have it on my old computer. The new computer died after I loaded the MCE Buddy and so far I haven’t been able to get the new pc to boot. Going back to the old computer, commercial skipping isn’t working anymore, did’t change any settings. If I end up having to reset or reload windows on the new PC, am I now stuck with no commercial skipping regardless of what happens? Please advise.

If it was working but then stopped it could be because either the settings have changed or the content has changed and the commercial detection settings need a tweak.
Start by attaching your conversion log so we can see what’s going on.

According to the logs it found commercials.

The original file was 7494 seconds and after cutting commercial it was 6619 seconds.
Looks like it’s finding and cutting commercials according to the voice logs.
