I recently switched to a new computer and reinstalled MCEBuddy. When setting up a conversion to MKV - the conversion seems to proceed properly but the resulting file displays a single still picture for the duration of the video without any audio. When processing to an MP4 file - everything works as expected. I have reinstalled MCEBuddy.
Does anyone have any suggestions on what I can try to get MKV conversions to work?
Playing with settings and I disabled the hardware acceleration option and a video converted properly. So apparently that was causing the problem with MKV conversions.
It’s a problem with your graphics driver failing (it does hardware conversions), do a search for hardware conversion and you’ll see it. Also see this topic: GPU/Hardware Encoding/Acceleration FAQs
