I would like to create a task in MCEBuddy that triggers on SD 4:3 content only. My goal would be to remove the black bars so it better fits the current 16:9 aspect ratio. I notice that without formatting, the 4:3 content looks squished. I’m hoping that removing the black bard will create a better looking picture.

Does anyone know if this is possible? I’m not transcoding my OTA content otherwise (i’m leaving it as MPEG-2). I’m only removing commercials.
